CLASS ROUTINE
While every studio has its own unique class structure, most studios follow a similar timeline - set-up, workout and cool-down.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
1
Arrive 15 minutes early
Turn up 15 minutes before class start to go through bike set-up with a staff or instructor.
2
Safety Briefing
Your instructor will give you a safety briefing on bike components and key safety pointers.
Pay close attention to the resistance knob and emergency brake!
3
Your ride begins
Studios door close promptly once the class starts. Latecomers will be turned away as it is unsafe for yourself and other riders.

Taking a spin class is the same as boarding a plane - it waits for no one!

*Studios may engage different types of indoor cycling bikes with different minimal resistance settings. Typically, they are between 1.5 to 3 turns of the knob.
THE WORKOUT BEGINS
4
Warm-up
Ride on a low resistance* to get your heart rate up and familiarise yourself with the movements!
5
Workout
Now that you’ve warmed up, expect to pedal at a varying intensities and resistances, along with upper-body choreographies for that full body workout.
6
Breaks
Throughout the class, you will have short breaks to rest and hydrate. However, always take breaks whenever necessary.
YOU'RE ALMOST DONE!
7
Cool-down
Towards the end of the workout, reduce your intensity and pedal slower until you come to a stop. This helps you cool down your muscles and body properly.
8
Post-Workout Stretch
Stretching after any workout is crucial for recovery! Your instructor will guide you through a short session to stretch out your tense muscles. Continue stretching at home for a more efficient recovery!
