CONDITION MY BODY WITH
SOME EXERCISES

Though spin is a beginner-friendly fitness, some first-timers with poor fitness levels can put themselves at a higher risk of being injured due to the high-intensity nature of spin.

As such, it is always good to condition your body before your first spin class. Some fitness workouts to get your body ready for spin are swimming, cycling, jogging or running.

SET UP MY BIKE WITH ATTENTION TO COMFORT

Arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes before each class!

Setting up your bike properly is important no matter how fit you are or how experienced you are with cycling outdoors. Be early for your first spin class to have sufficient time for a proper bike setup and safety briefing.

AVOID OTHER HIGH-INTENSITY ACTIVITIES

The most important tip is to give your body a break—that means staying off any intensive, physically demanding activities until your body feels sufficiently rested.

Contrary to popular belief, feeling pain after your spin workout should not be normal or even a target to achieve!

A great workout is when you can keep up with the pace without overexerting yourself, not how much pain you feel the next day.
